DocuTrack SoHo is a document management and image archiving application aimed at small- to medium-sized businesses with 1 to 100 users.DocuTrack allows you to scan from any Twain compliant device, and import from any popular image format, including BMP, CAL, JPG, TIFF, and WMF. You can define standard templates for automatic indexing of documents, or index individual documents. The program also allows the automatic indexing of numbered documents such as invoices and way bills. Because DocuTrack creates its own copy of imported documents, originals are left untouched, enabling you to enhance a file without affecting the original. Once archived images are saved they cannot be altered, thus ensuring legality for archive purposes as a facsimile of the original. Any image can be exported to other formats, including HTML, and attached to an e-mail message, which you can send from within DocuTrack. In addition, the program includes a contact database, a quert wizard, and a document security function.
