Netlock 98 is an Internet security program for kiosks, cybercafes, schools and pay-per-use Internet access locations.Netlock facilitates and streamlines pay per use interaction with the Internet using any form of payment. Netlock will accept payment via coins, bills, credit cards or any other magnetic stripe. It has a built-in accounting, statistics, membership and revenue-tracking system along with a security system.Netlock is designed to allow a client to walk up to any terminal and securely access the Internet. Once connected Netlock will launch any desired program. Netlock takes over the Windows desktop and allows the owner/administrator to decide exactly which programs the user will have access to. It locks out the desktop, the taskbar, all of the drive controls and it disables the reboot commands.It even comes with its own custom browser that prevents users from downloading EXE or ZIP files.
