Use PageNest Free Edition offline browser to copy websites and pages to your hard disk. PageNest will create an exact copy of virtually any page or site. Create archives of your favorite sites. Copy interesting or useful pages before they disappear from the internet. Browse the downloaded sites without needing to open an internet connection.
Designed to be easy to use, you can start a download in PageNest Free Edition with as few as two mouse clicks. It will grab the address of the current site from your internet browser, or by dragging and dropping a link. You can also, of course, type in a website address. There are options to choose between downloading a single poge or an entire site.
PageNest uses a fast multithreaded downloading engine with up to forty threads for the fastest downloads. The number of threads can easily be adjusted whilst downloading.
PageNest Free Edition maintains the original directory structure of the sites. Files are saved as standard html, jpeg, gif etc so they can be viewed in any suitable software. They can even be edited and re-uploaded. Dynamic files (php, asp, pl etc) are converted to HTML (or other file types as appropriate). You can view downloaded site in PageNests built in browser, or you can use your own browser - downloads are viewable in any browser. There is no need to run a server on your machine.
Sites are listed into a 'tree' to make them easy to organise, and previous downloads quick to find. Quickly find recent downloads in the 'recent download' list shown at start up (or at any time on the 'Welcome' tab).
PageNest Free edition has been developed from our existing WebStripper offline browser. WebStripper has been in development since 1998. This long history makes it very stable, reliable and bug free.
PageNest Free Edition is free for non commercial use. This means you can use it in the home, in not for profit organisations and in recognised education establishments.
