RTMirror is a folder mirroring application that lets you specify one or more folders on your local hard disk. As soon as you modify files in those folders, RTMirror will silently copy them to a different folder (either on another hard disk or on another networked computer).
RTMirror has been designed to add a security layer to your backup strategy. Even if you are one of the few people who make a backup copy of their work every day, you are still exposed to a loss of data in case of a disk failure: in the worst case you will lose the work of an entire day. Of course if you are not so diligent with your backups you are exposed to the danger of a bigger data loss.
RTMirror works in real time: as soon as a file is created or modified, it is automatically copied within a minute. In order to optimize the application's performance, we have chosen to leave this small delay.
In case of a failure of your primary hard disk, you will be able to restore all your important files from the backup copies created by RTMirror. You will not lose more than one minute's worth of your work!
