A time reporting and task tracking system that is accessed from a web browser. TechAid ASP can be used from any computer that can communicate with the web server where the program is installed. TechAid ASP is an Active Server Page program that can be installed on Internet Information Server version 4 or higher and on Personal Web Server. It can be accessed from a Javascript enabled web browser and is compatible with Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher or Netscape 6.0 and higher. TechAid ASP allows users to record their time using an organization's standard task numbering system, or record their time using a reference that identifies a task that does not have an 'official' designation. This allows users to account for all of their time, not just the time they spend working on tasks that have a standard identification. TechAid ASP includes reports that give information as simple as the total hours reported by a user for a given date range, to detailed reports that show all information for every activity log entry made by a user. TechAid ASP uses an Access 2000 database and does not require that Microsoft Access be installed on the web server. TechAid ASP was designed to be so intuitive that users understand all of its functions on first use. The installation wizard completely automates the installation process. TechAid ASP allows 10 concurrent users. There is no limit on the number of user accounts that can be created. TechAid ASP is a great tool for an organization's members to record their time and track the tasks they are working on.
