It sends and receives faxes, and converts your PC with a fax-modem into a versatile answering machine with remote control. You can retrieve your fax and voice messages from anywhere, using a touch tone telephone. It also provides caller's number delivery (caller ID), if supported by your telephone company. You can also record a telephone conversation with just a click of the button. VentaFax supports notification/forwarding of received messages by email. Distinctive Ring service (if supported by your modem) is available even in Windows XP!
User interface is extremely friendly and intuitive, the Ventafax's main screen resembles a regular fax machine, and all essential controls are the buttons on its front panel. It even shows you the image of a fax page travelling through this fax machine's slot as you transmit and receive faxes.

You can keep your announcements and outgoing voice messages as the sound (.WAV) files as well as the text files. Ventafax supports the TTS (Text-To-Speech) engines and will employ them to convert text files to speech.
