In the game, crashing has an effect on your car and your performance. Body panels bend, windows crack and smash, and suspension and steering parts can be damaged, all of which will give you problems throughout the rallies.Before starting a rally, you are given the option to set-up your car, and if necessary, repair the damage you may have inflicted.A rally championship covers a whole season of rallying in eight different countries with varying weather conditions and time of day. All countries have six stages and four of the countries have an extra super-special stage.The Time Trial option allows you to play any stage of a rally with one or two players. There are no repair options available in this mode.The Rally option allows you to rally all of the stages in just one country. You can play against either the computer or a friend, in two player mode.
