LIFESPAN is the product of my friend's desire not to have to do any more date calculations than he could possibly avoid. This is probably common for most of us. I decided to solve the problem with a certain reputable spreadsheet program, (one that really should excel at this sort of thing but didn't). This led me to consider solving the problem with a little c++ program.
So here it is. Quick, small and very effective. Lifespan runs on pretty much anything (anything running windows that is) and is contained in a single zipped file of 57k which makes Lifespan very easy to distribute on the net or by email. This is not a big scale production, just my pet.
You feed Lifespan a starting date and a finishing date and Lifespan will tell you the difference in years, months and days. Very useful for government forms in my country, thats for sure.
